When I mention mindfulness, many people think of meditation or an app like Calm, Headspace, or Mindfulness Coach. While meditation is a key component of mindfulness, it extends beyond meditation –  it's a lifestyle.

Mindfulness is about developing a deep sense of awareness and compassion in all areas of life. It becomes a way of being and relating to the world, promoting a greater sense of presence, balance, and overall well-being.

  • It involves bringing a sense of mindfulness to every aspect of life, not just during meditation sessions.
  • A mindful lifestyle is one in which mindfulness is incorporated into all aspects of life, from work to relationships to leisure activities.
